Introduction to
The Fellowship
Welcome to Wings of Faith
Ministries. In the following pages you
will find many valuable resources to help you along the way. While we first
mention Five Fold leading we are not implying anything other than the
scriptures that the leadership here will be based on in order to help YOU
become the YOU God Intended
Matthew9:35-38
Jesus had compassion while teaching—Harvest is
big—workers are few—ask the Lord of the Harvest to send out workers
1Peter5:2-4
Shepherd the flock—not under compulsion—not for
sorrid gain—be examples—voluntary
Philipians2:1-5
Be of same mind, united in spirit—intent on one
purpose—do nothing from selfishness—regard others more important than
yourself—look out for others—not just yourselves
Hebrews10:23-25
Hold Fast the confession of hope—stimulate each
other to love and good deeds—don’t forsake assembling together
1Thess2:7-8-11-12
Be gentle as nursing mother—impart your life to
others—behave blamelessly—walk in a manner worthy of God
God gave at
least five types of leaders to the church: apostles, prophets, evangelists,
pastors, and teachers. They exist to complete the members’ growth and to equip
them to do the work of the ministry.
1. Apostle: One sent forth to pioneer and establish new works and new
leaders.
2. Prophet: One who speaks forth
God’s Word to inspire, correct, and motivate.
3. Evangelist: One who shares Christ
with outsiders and trains others to do so.
4. Pastor: One who shepherds,
guides, and guards God’s people as they serve.
5. Teacher: One who trains God’s
people in the truth and teaches others to do so.
WHY? FOR WHAT PURPOSE?
Eph 4:12 For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the
ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:
Eph 4:13 Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge
of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature
of the fullness of Christ:
THE EXTERNAL RESULTS WILL BE:
Eph 4:14 That we [henceforth] be no more children, tossed to and fro,
and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men,
[and] cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;
Eph 4:15 But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all
things, which is the head, [even] Christ:
Eph 4:16 From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that
which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in
the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying
of itself in love.
Eph 4:17 This I say therefore, and testify in the Lord, that ye henceforth walk
not as other Gentiles walk, in the vanity of their mind,
Eph 4:18 Having the understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of
God through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness
of their heart
Welcome to Wings of Faith Ministries. We hope and we pray that this booklet helps
you get familiar with us and what we believe and are all about.
We believe in the Bible and teach it and strongly believe in
“TRUE” fellowship which involves MORE than just going to a building once a week
we call “church”
We believe that we have to “BE” church to those around us
and in our communities; And NOT Just GO to one once a week
