What is salvation consist of:

· Gods work in the present Become like Jesus Christ Heb 2:3 1 Pet 2:2 2 Pet 3:18
· Gods work in the future to glorify us and renew the world—read, see hope
· To take place at second coming, Blessed Hope
· Its God reconciling us back to Himself like in the Garden before the fall
· Its being rescued from God--thru God—to God
· Can only do that by going to and thru the Cross
Why Salvation
· God loved the world---didn’t care for the sin
· Sent Jesus to help us---same form as us
· God will forgive you Philp 4:13
· As we forgive others and recall, reflect & repent
· God is willing to save you from himself
· 1 Tim 1:15 Luke 19:10
· God provides a way to escape
· Acts 16:31 John 3:16
· Why would God do such a thing?
· God will punish sin-Heb 2:3 Rom 6:23
· Sin is disobedience
· Not all will be saved
· Math 25:41 John 5:28-29 1 Corin 6:9
· Do the best you can
· That wont save you, church wont save you, pastor cant save you, giving money cant save you, hearing sermons cant save you

Loyality
· How to get after Gods Own Heart?
· Be aware of ourselves and where we are
· Do what we can with what we have
· Look to God to correct your past and learn
· Must desire Gods plan for us
· Live as though Gods promises are true
· Go thru open doors
· I asked about Bible study----now we have services---answered prayer—someone here may have prayed for that
· Give your self to God , let God use what God has given you for Gods purpose—From God, Thru God To God
· Plan to Seek After Gods own Heart

· P---Pray that God forgive us
· He is faithful to forgive us
· R—Repent from our ways
· Turn and do other things a new way
· Help others in relationship with them
· All are seeking spiritual truths

Gods Heart is Salvation
· We need spiritual receptiveness James 1:21
· Lay aside what we want and listen and learn
· We need spiritual diligence 2 Peter 1:10-11
· To continue to gain perfection
· By reading studing
· We need spiritual cleansing Rev 22:14
· To not only speak of wrongs but how to make them rights, how to be saved from sins
· Its only God that can actually do these things
· Through Faith and Confession
Ro 10:9; 1Co 1:21; 15:2; 2Ti 3:15
Look at Job
· Devil said Job faithful to God because of the Gifts
· God was bribing Job he said
· Things going on in heaven and on earth
· Job had hard time understanding why
· He didn’t know what was going on in heaven
· Didn’t know Devil was accusing him
· Sow a seed mentality---what’s in it for me?
· Job lost it all to get it all
· His friends thought they knew what was best
· Passed his test of Loyality
· Cant take it with you
· Cant look to the gifts—have to look to the Giver
· Have to come to Him now where we are
· Thru it all Job was loyal Job 1:22 Job did not sin or accuse God
· If we have love for Jesus, cant be taken from us
If we are loyal to Him He is faithful and loyal to us
· Even when we fall He is loyal
· He provides the promise salvation
· We accept His work on faith
· Believe He died for each of us
· He provides salvation, to save us from the wrath to come
· Salvation to all that obey Him Heb 5:9
· Is promised Ac 11:14; 16:31
· We have the promise to salvation
· We can be heirs and sons of God right now
· To remember what He did and what he said and what he commanded us to do and how to do it—make disciples I Timothy 4:10
Concl: Where are you in your spiritual journey? Seeking after Gods own heart. Come to Him thru faith in Jesus. Now is the appointed time. What are you loyal to? What does your heart desire?
